An CardReader use an internal motherboard usb plug ... as i saw on this board (like every boards) it have internal usb connector. So the answer should be yes bro Personaly DFI board are really overclocking friendly and they are good stuff Keep care of this board bro

P.S : If the attachement is your board (maybe i did an mistake for the pic) The USB CardReader USB internal plugs are inside the RED BOX who i putted on the picture(With thoses plugs you can plug usb front pannels etc(All the stuff who is on the USB)

So I should just buy one that connects to the internal plug, and not a external USB port?

Update note.

Since i switched from my MSI 790x mobo and gone to this DFI 790FX

My successful Boot up rate is about 1 per 10 tries..

Its loads my Vista slower..

I've never had a defective mobo b4 so out of curisoity is it a defect?

Everytime you change a Motherboard you should ALWAYS reinstall your os, or else you are bound to have errors... it doesn't mean your card reader doesn't work. Since you changed your mobo, reinstall your OS even if the two mobos have the same chipset.
