Default SLI'ing 7600GT's on Crossfire mobo help

Hello!I'm new to this forum so please bear with me.I read in here before that it is possible to run SLI on a Crossfire mobo.I even think i downloaded the necessary driver needed but did not do it at that time. Now i'm searching the forums for the right instructions to go about doing it so if anyone can help me i would really appreciate it.Now i know some of you are wondering why would i want to do this. It's because i don't really want to go out and spend money on a new SLI board and this is just going to be more like a HTPC in my room if you will. The mobo is an ECS 945P-A with a Pentium D 920.So if anyone remembers the thread and direct me there i would be really greatful.

yes i knew that and just out of curiosity wanted to know if it the patch does anything close to sli. I would have gone with the sli board but all of them dont match with the intel chipsets. When i need 1600 guaranteed only the x38 can pull that off and not the revamped 780i. The 790i came out a week before i got my board and it would have been the board of the my choice but the price and the ddr3 were all not favorable.

There is no such multi GPU board equipped with a Via chipset, neither an nForce4 Ultra / 4x. And SLI with your listed Uli chipset was super unstable even with the patch.

It seems they are mistaken. And, if you look in the article it says that the chipset were not licensed bu Nvidia to run SLi, however there are two Nvidia chipsets there. WOW.
