The same??

Please, tell me if you SEE any difference between these 2 mobo; the 1rst one is named "GA-X38-DQ6" (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...ame=GA-X38-DQ6); the 2nd is named "GA-EP35-DS3P" (http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Products/...ProductID=2533).

Specifications, as far as I could see, are *almost the same; but I can't find the *real differences between the 2.

Any ideas?

EP35 is based on the P35 chipset, and X38 is based on the X38 chipset. P35 is a bit cheaper, but in performance they are almost the same.

Rege is right and also the silent pipe is different on the DQ6. All copper including the underside of the mobo. Also X38 has true 2 x PCI-E x16 support P35 has 1 x PCI-E x 16 and 1 x PCI-E x 4.

(And as we have found on the second viddy card in PCI-E it disables the other PCI-E ports under P35)
