Thanks for the input. My other machine has a Asus P5W DH DLX, C2D E6600, Sapphire X1950XT, and 3 GB Corsair XMS2 RAM. It is my work machine though...I'm thinking of going with a MSI P35 Platinum, C2D E6750, Sapphire X1950XT, and 2 GB Corsair XMS2 RAM. Anyone see anything wrong with this plan? Also thinking I will have to upgrade my PSU.

Decent looking Mobo looks like the Gigabyte Genrage and I looked at very close but does it support the Intel 45nm quad cores coming out didn't see it mentioned in my search ?

The Gigabyte does not sure how the prices compare ....
Canada Computers - Motherboards > Socket LGA775/T : Gigabyte GA-P35-DS4 Socket 775 Intel P35 + ICH9R Dual-Channel DDR2 1066/800/667Mhz 8x Serial ATAII IEEE1394 GigaLAN 8-Channel Audio Support 1333Mhz FSB.

On the rest looks decent and a nice Duo on the viddy getting a bit older but work well ... have a Accelero S1 Mod for those cards coming soon (And have yet to try crossfire with them). On the PSU I would suggest upgrading you need a strong 12V rail even for the X1950.

Might want to check out this one as well depending on what you have planned for viddy cards. After talking to Judas last night if your going with say 2 x X1950 on that first board its pretty much negligible the performance difference with 1 x PCIE x 16 and 1 x PCIE x 4 under Crossfire.

Gigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 Motherboard Review @ HL

On that one you get 2 x PCIE x 16 which would be better suited and supported for newer cards such as the HD38xx series under crossfire and of course ideal for SLI if you want to go green *COUGH* Also upgrades to the new X38 Intel Chipset

Cool, thanks. I'm really starting to look at the newer Radeon cards...3850's.
