#2 | | Stuck in "April 1st" | | M/B: Asus Rampage Formula | | | RAM: G.Skill 2x2GB PI Black | | When you switch the thing on do the cpu/gpu/system fans and hard drive spin up, or does pressing the power button result in total silence and no activity?

#5 | | Professional Member | Can you see the post screen?
Can you hear Windows start up sound?
Did you change your monitor?
Are the monitor / power cables firmly connected?
Whenever a monitor shows a out of range message it means its operating in a higher refresh rate than it supports. |

#7 | | Professional Member | Try turning on your computer with one memory stick per time (if you have only one then try to get another one to test). If the memory stick your using wont boot the computer change its slot to make sure its not the stick or the slot of the memory, remember to always turn off the computer before changing the memory. |

#10 | | cel rau | the board should have a buzzer, if not you should connect one and tell us if any sound (beep) is played
start with bare minimum for the board to boot, remove fdd, hdd, optical drive and any other add-on boards but the video card: if no boot or sound is played, start removing main components: first remove memory, then the video card
if still no sound is played, the board may be faulty or ... in some situations, the CPU
