#1 | | Advanced Newbie | | PSU: Antec SP 2.0 500watt | | Question about changing a motherboard ok i have a Syntax 2.4ghz motherboard and it runs really well , but i want to upgrade to a dou/core processor...
The big problem is that all my hardware is PCI and AGP...
My question is -- Is there a motherboard / dou-processor combination that will work for me? |

Somebody told me i need a Asus mobo with a Amd 4600 processor,, but he said it would cost about 400 dollars.. lol
He said that would be the best for extreme gaming, but i dont know...
I just dont wanna have to turn my graphics down just to play a 3d game or play with poser..
I wanna be able push the boundaries of any 3d program or game i can get and never look back,, you know what i mean? |

IF its AM2 its impossible to keep AGP, 939 will do but good luck finding them. For the motherboard you have the ASUS A8V, many models are available.
