Just curious here. How many RAM Controllers are listed in your Device Manager/System Devices?

Offhand, I don't recall seeing so many before:

Just following along here and may have learned something as well. All my motherboards for the last 5 years or so have used Intel chipsets ... so this RAM controller appearing in System Devices is inherent in boards with NForce chipsets then ?

For the record, I'm presently using an ASUS P5N-E Sli board. I've updated the BIOS to 703 [released just over a week ago] and have installed the latest Chipset drivers from ASUS. But, those drivers are getting close to a year old now.

This newer BIOS claims to make the board more compatible with newer Memory Modules and to provide compatibility with newer Processors.

After all of this, I still have all those RAM controllers listed.
