Funny thing, but i had to change it to socket 939 because 10 of 17 resistors around the chipset blew all at the same time while my dadwas gaming on it, there was actually smoke coming out. Should have taken a video shoot of it.

Yeah that's true but i'm not a mega overclocker so i don't really care. Also, some older revision 975X boards that came out before the 965P don't have the newer ICH8 south bridge, but newer revisions do, be careful about that.
