Dual-Channel issue:(

Hey everyone, just got an ASUS A8V motherboard with an AMD 64 3200+ on it, (for my secondary system). I have 2x 512 mb Kingston KVR ram + 1x 1024 mb Crucial Rendition ram for a total of 2gb of ram. However, i cannot get this motherboard to run in Dual Channel mode

. Everytime it boots up on the POST screen it says : Single-channel 64-bit mode. I put the 2 kingston DUAL-CHANNEL ENABLED sticks in the same colored slots(blue), and the crucial one in a black slot, and it still reads as single-channel. Does anyone have this motherboard with this issue? This pisses me off because as a result i get a poor performance in games. And BTW, i'm using the latest BIOS version for this board.

Ok, here is an update on the situation.

If i put the thwo Kingston 512mb stick in the corresponding slots, it works on dual channel, but as soon as i put in the 1024mb crucial stick in an other slot(black), it reverts to single channel

kid you are soo funy
name dual chanel have geted from one pair of ddr (dual ddr)
you cant put ddr in 3 slots and run dual chanel lol

slot. 1&3 can run on dual chanel
slot. 2&4 can run on dual chanel
but slot. 1&2&3 at same time cant run on dual chanel

you need to put one or two pairs of ddr to run on dual chanel

Yeah, but on the Socket A system i had before there was 3 ram slots. (2 blue 1 black). I used to put the two 512 mb sticks on the same colored slots and the 1 gb stick on the black slot and it worked on dual-channel mode.
