Default How about 64 bit processors?

Heya,

when i tried to install the NGO drivers for my SB 5.1 audiocard, i got several errors saying that some .dll's can only run under the 32-bit environment.
Is there some way that i can install ngocmd.exe under my Vista Ultimate 64-bit environment?

I hope that one of you can help me because i can't live without sound/music from my computer.

Thanks.

What's not to like about 32bit OSes? Better drivers (Irony), better gaming performance, less headaches etc?

Default x64 is great if your a programmer

You can always compile your own support appz.

Windows Xp 64bit runs circles around XP 32bit

As far as games go, in comp mode it uses the same slice of code to run the game that the 32bit version of XP uses, its called a split Kernal. So its the best of both worlds if you know what you are doing. There are a few applications that have broken shell extensions but overall its not for the Tard end user or the Tard programmer.

The reason that there are not enough support drivers are because of just that.

You must have at least half a brain to even have an opinion on this subject... sorry

Windows XP 64 has always been plagued with problems with or without driver support issues. I see a lot of advice offered please post your synopsis, application notes and conclusions on the subject at hand

Cheers
