The AGP market has been heating up a lot recently. Only a few weeks ago
we reported that nVidia is planning to introduce an AGP version of
7300GT with DDR2 memory. Now it seems that Sapphire is ready to release
a shipment of a RADEON X1300XT AGP card to a few distributors,
according to a worldwide distributor.
This card will be available in both DDR2 and DDR3 versions, with memory
up to 512MB, 128bit. The expected clocks are 500/800MHz. Since the
distributor has reported that he already received the cards, we can
predict that the release date is very, very soon. According to our
sources, the X1300XT AGP will be faster than the 7300GT AGP.
