Conclusions
The Kama Connect 2 proves to be an extremely useful product. You can
backup your HDDs, you can transfer data to Laptops/HTPCs/Servers easily
and a lot of more. This product can serve you well, especially if you
are a technician. I feel your pain, I have been a technician many years, and I know how you feel when you open an old case with a lot of dust in it. I know how you feel when suddenly your optical drive is not
working in the most critical moment or when you are trying to fix a
computer without any optical drive in it. But you are lucky these days,
back in my time, we didn’t have a product like the Kama
Connect 2, we barely had some slow enclosure (LPT).
I really liked the Kama Connect 2; it is a very useful product and can
make our lives much easier. The Kama Connect 2 is must have tool for
technicians, just like their screwdrivers kit. About pricing, we found
this product online around $20-30 bucks, at this price range the product is very
affordable indeed. For all these reasons, we would like to award this
product our Editor’s Choice Award. I am looking
forward to the Kama Connect 3; and expecting to see USB 3.0 and SATAII
support. By the way, where were you ten years ago? Only if I had the
Kama Connect 2 back then.
Pros:
* Excellent product
* Extremely useful
* Offers both SATA and IDE support
* Offers both 2.5” and 3.5” support
* Affordable Cons:
* Performance penalty
* Availability
