Microsoft’s Chairman, Bill Gates, is currently touring Israel.
According to Gates, the reason for this tour is to learn more about the
Israeli market.
In this tour Gates attacked Google in a press conference. Gates said:
"Google is getting a lot of attention today, they made a public
emission, and did a good work, but they are getting non-proportional
treatment from the press. We have bigger competitors then Google.
There’s a lot of hype around Google, it’s a nice company,
but not that special as a competitor. The press made a lot of noise
when Google released their Instant messenger, even doing so after every
other competitor. The press thinks that Google has surprises and that
they can do everything and build everything just by using a magic wand.
I don’t have any information about their plans of building
something like Office Applications or Operating Systems."
