Many users are complaining about black screen issues while using
GeForce 7800GS AGP. Most of the reports are from users that share
common symptoms and issues. The most affected hardware is on the EVGA
and XFX boards. Both firms have confirmed these issues and EVGA has
even offered a beta BIOS as a workaround. However almost nothing has
been solved regarding these issues. Both firms got frustrated and
stopped trying to investigate and attempt to fix these issues.
The amusing part in this story is that most of these users are claiming
that our very own NGO Optimized Driver has solved this issue. We have
already informed EVGA and Nvidia about this issue months ago and still
have received no word on a official fix. We even attempted to offer
EVGA our assistance but the firm has kept us in the dark without any
official answer. Again we have witnessed a critical issue in a product
and the manufacturer doesn’t care about it. This is becoming a regular habit.
