Overclocking Question (oh god hehe)

I met a guy who was able to overclock his FX 5200 to a 5600 (GEtting a 6600 gt soon) and setting the core up to 325 wihout any external or extra cooling. Just the same fan thats always on video cards..... I can to but it makes my games hang up to hell. Is this just an "all cards are different" thing or is mine deffective in some way?

try different overcloking software
i use powerstrip

I had it for a while but then I get it unistalled because it was a "trail verson"

This is a "all cards are diferent thing". Some cards overclock better than others, it just depends on your luck.
