CPU: Pen 4 3.2 GHz
GPU: 2.62 GHZ???
M/B: something
RAM: 1024 Megabytes
PSU: Dunno
Default nVidia GeForce Go 6800

Okay, Has anyone had a problem with resolution? I boot up windows normally and the monitor goes black. I have uninstalled drivers and reinstalled and the driver now installed is NVIDIA 7.9.3.1

In safe mode everything is clear. When running windows normally it will get to the windows Xp screen and then the monitor goes black after that.

I can start it in VGA mode which is horrible. Could this be a video card problem?? I am leaning more toward drivers being that safe mode is so clear (could be perfect but not quiet) and plays videos. I have it set to 1024x768 in safe and it is pretty darn good. But when running in any other (vga or what not) it will not go more than 800x600 low bit without shutting the monitor off. Thought I would fly that by you guys and see if you had any suggestions.

Thanks!

Default Update

I went into safe mode.. uninstalled drivers and brought windos back up normally. When it said found new hardware "video controller" I canceled (being I dont know if I have the right drivers or not) . Everything runs great. The video is awesome compared to what it was and I am able to play games.. videos.. ect. Hmm.... driver problem you think???
