I've been using it very successfully with my previous ATI 9600 PRO and X800 XL...both AGP cards.
Well, since upgrading to the X1950 PRO PCIe card, I've had some serious problems with the Overclocking settings with ATT. AND, I've been using the latest version available.
Even if I attempt to change the clock speeds ever so slightly, I get a corrupt screen and have to use the Reset button on my computer case to restart the computer.
So, Ray, if this problem can't be fixed very soon, I'll need to start using another 3rd party app that does the job.
Any ideas or suggestions, please?

In both our cases, you need to set ATT to driver-level overclocking, not low-level. Once you do that you can use it to OC as much as it will allow you with default voltage.
The problem is that you cannot force higher voltage with anything except ATI's own Overdrive feature. ATT will allow you to specify the limits Overdrive aims for, but after you set that limit you should disable ATT's overclocking entirely. Any change made to your clock speeds after Overdrive has been set will reset the voltage to the card (in my case down from 1.5 to 1.2) and the card will crash at much lower core clocks than before.
So far I've managed to get my XTX to 650 core/2100 mem @ 1.5 volts, though it feels like the core could go a bit higher... Still, I won't test that till Ray gets low-level OC working again.

What I'd love to see if for ATT to handle it without having to install CCC at all. Hope that gets resolved down the line, too.
Thanks a bunch for the quick reply.

Added new overclocking method for X1xxx boards with Overdrive support. "Driver Level overclocking". Near the same method first was introduced in RivaTuner and then in ATITool.
What will this method do ?
1. Overclocking will be done by Catalyst itself like Overdrive
2. Voltage will be applied by driver for GPU and by ATT for memory. Only for hardware with voltage regulator
3. ATT will emulate Overdrive job, but will allow to set clocks when you want it instead of when you run full screen 3D application.
4. This should work even if you didn't disable ATI HotKey poller! And clocks will not reset by that service in 3D games
5. With this method clocks shouldn't not resets when you play any video files (tested on my 1800XT) 6. More stable overclocking.
7. You can create full featured overclocking profiles in ATT and use them in game profiles.
8. For Video board without OverDrive support ATT will use alternative method for overclocking like used in ATI WinClk and also in last release of RivaTuner.
| If they use the same method than ATITool ( rivatuner too ) and ATITool doesnt support overclocking 1950 pro cards then i think you wont overclock your card using such method... ( http://www.techpowerup.com/atitool/).
I hope it helps.
Edit: I just noticed that Pro cards dont have Overdrive tab, only XT does. So if they use overdrive to overclock you wont be able to do it (?) not sure about this.
