Default Problem with GeForce 7600GT

im kinda newbie at this kind of stuffs so i can only name wad i know about my computer, unless someone teaches me how do i view the full specs of my computer instead of going to the 'system properties' in control panel.
the specs i know of:
Intel®Pentium®4 CPU 3.06GHz
1.00 GB of RAM
160GB of memory
GeForce 7600GT.
Windows XP Home Edition SP 2
that's all i know about my computer.
now here's the problem.my computer will freeze after starting a game for like 1-10 mins.but the strange thing is,sometimes it can go on for like 1 hr or so then it starts to freeze.when it freezes,it will un-freeze itself after waiting for like 2 mins of freezing but to only freeze again after a few mins.it really irritates me because the games i play is all MMORPGs,so they requires you to login into their server.i will kindly appreciate any help available.i'll be waiting for the replies from everyone.thank you.im not sure if i posted in the right place but i'll really appreciate any help given by anyone.im also not sure whether this is the problem of the graphic card either.

Nothing until you reproduce the freezing on an offline game.

i think i left out a bit of information.yes,i've tried it out on and offline game too.the graphic card came with Serious Sam 2 so i tried it out to see whether it will freeze and the result is the same.i tried it out with a game named Soldat.it seems that the games that requires extreme graphics or maybe high graphics will freeze almost immediately.for a game like Soldat,it freezes maybe after half an hour or so because it requires low graphics.

please download and run ATITOOL, by using the 3d preview window it will stress the GPU out and allow us to test for if it is freezing at a certain temp.

Check the details of your CPU memory and other hardware using something like SISandra

Best of luck
