Do these drivers enable me to run SLI on my CrossFire Motherboard?
ie: did NGO figure away around the NVIDIA software block in the driveR?

no way you can do that.
crossfire works totaly diverent then a sli mobo.

there was a sli patch ... and modded froceware
if your card is 7600gt it supported by that modded forceware ... 85.96 if i'm not wrong

Exactly - that patch worked around NV's check on the chipset.

Wondering if NGO figured out what that patch did and used it on this later driver - sounds like no for now.

Basically Nvidia’s SLI requires two PEG slots. However, Nvidia is forcing the consumers to purchase their nForce based motherboards if you want to use their technology. For your information, Nvidia has blocked that ‘SLI Patch’ inside ForceWare; but there is some kind of modified/cracked ForceWare driver that will allow you to use SLI (You can find it here). It will work but you still need that SLI Bridge if you wish to have the best performance.

It is possible but there isn't any patch or driver for it.

this is too bad
mbos with sli(nvidia chipset) work much beter than mbos with crossfire
it would be great that someone make patch for that

It really worked: with SLI enabled on my i975X mobo with 2x 7800GT, 3Dmark06 results improved from 3880 to 6000 (overclocking: none). Thanks again
