|  X1600 pro heat problems.....
Just wanted to say "hi" to everyone a NGOHQ and post a tech question. I recently upgraded from a 9800 pro to an X1600 pro hoping to squeeze a little more performance out of my AGP mobo. It appears to give me better game play (HL2, AA, CS source, and RVS) but I get little blocks of iridescent off-color squares in the terrain and static mesh textures? Is this heat or something else?
For what it’s worth I am running an Arctic Cool active heat sink w/heat pipes and three 80mm fans. |

did you install that cooler yourself?

I'm at work.....but when I get home I can. I'm running a total of eight fans in my case and the temps a always good (case - 76 F cpu - 86 F) .
Yes, I did do the install myself.

Sorry  , I went home after posting and of course nothing showed up! Grrr! I did get the same "boxes" while my daugter was playing her Barbie game. I'll post some tonight as long as everyone understands the in-game pics are my daughter's game and her playing not me! I don't do games with pink and unicorns in the same place.
