Default BFG 7600GT OC overheating?

I need to know if the temps on my card are too high.

I started off with my case open and installed the driver that came with the CD (Note at this time the air conditioning was also on). I could get 33 idle and even less (No bars!) which I suspect would be a driver related problem reporting wrong temps.
Then I upgraded to latest forceware and the temp jumped to 49 idle. After closing the case the idle went to 53c. Then turning off the airconditioning gives me the current idle temp of 55c. I tested under load with Titan quest and it went to 60c. Is that too hot for a 7600gt oc or is it acceptable?

BTW: My case has 5 silent fans which I suspect don't do much other than encouraging the hot air to kindly move out at an orderly pace. I only want to change anything if the temps are dangerous.

85-100c is too high, 0-80c is fine and 80-85c is high.

So basically even with these highly unideal conditions and I oc it some more? Since I've heard that my card runs hotter with NGO drivers I wanted to be sure it's safe to proceed

Edit:
It just occurred to me that BFG has 24/7 tech support so I emailed and they replied in less than 10 minutes, Amazing! That's what I call proper tech support! Here's what they said:

"The card can handle temperatures up to 90C before you will start to see any
problems from it due to heat."
