Default Please help, i'm new here - SUB: x1300

hey guys,
i just bought a brand new pc with a Sapphire X1300 512MB GPU and i have been havin a whole lotta issues with it.
Firstly, i have only tried 4 games with it tilll now : Quake 4, Counter Strike Condition Zero, Unreal Tournament Original and Need For Speed Most Wanted.
So... Quake has been running great, as for the other three, it seems that after the pc has been running for a while, maybe an hour, these games go into hyperspeed. its like a secret control in the game which has been set to ULTRA FAST. basically, while moving from point A o B, What sould take 10 seconds now takes bout 3secs.
now, heres the stranger part, if i restart, and play right after the system boots, everythng's fine.
also u should know that i use maya, max etc, etc - bunch of 3d softwares that might have an effect maybe??

okay, secondly, when i use maya, on doing a harware render or going into high quality render mode in the viewport, the rendered object has black regions (very much like a bad render).
some one plz help as i am desparate.

my other specs are
AMD dual core 3600+
MSI K9N SLI Platinum
2 GB DDR2 Ram

also if someone could help me, my onboard sound card is a ALC883 Realtek card and the sound is really fuzzy. any ideas??

THANKS, Any help would be appreciated

ok, the cool and quite think didnt work, the games still goes into hyperspeed.... kinda fun in need for speed though.
also, it seems that itunes is the only one playing the sounds properly... everything else shits it up.. cubase as well
i am playing in singleplayer.
i played ut in multiplayer but the same think happened... though i spent hours figuring out how the hell did it make up for the time difference in both the pc's.
i was playing in hyperspeed, while my bro was playing on a comp that has NO 3D CARD hancwe was playing slow. curios, isnt it?
anyway, any more ideas guys???

also how does the x1300 fair amongst its other cards in the same price range

..mutter fickst der radeon..

It's too early to blame the Radeon. I think it's related to the CPU/Motherboard, try to use the latest BIOS update and latest drivers. Are you using AMD's CPU driver?
