Unhappy Low scores in 3d mark

Hi guys i am recieving low scores (2630) in 3d mark 2005 default settings. My graphic card is xfx 7800 gs extreme edition (very popular i know  ). My question is that can it be from my processor (2.4 ghz fsb 533 mhz) cause the other specifications meets the one who tested it and recieved nearly 6000 points. And one more thing is that when i am increasing the resolution and other settings such as aa&af score is lowering only to 2200 points. Hope somebody will answer this question cause i am going to hate nvidia.

Try to test it with another card, maybe your card is broken.

here are my full specs
2.4 ghz fsb 533 mhz
msi 865 pe
2x512 400 mhz kingston ram (i am currently running them at 333 mhz cause of my cpu)
sata 80 + 120 (samsung + western digital)
450 watt coollermaster psu

and i connected power cable dirrectly from psu can it be a prob?
one more thing i changed ddr's frequence from 333 to 400 (which made my cpu to run in 2880 mhz ) my score changer to 2880. i think that the main prob is my cpu and how the card can be broken when it can view games? besides my driver says that i am using pci graphic card while in dxdiag.exe i can change agp accelaration option (disable\enable). in riva turner it says that pci\agp and agp fast write option is disabled by driver.

Which nvidia drivers are you using?? Have you updatet directX lately, check that the auto 2d/3d clocks are working so its using the correct clocks when starting bench´s and games. Google for the problem and see if others have this same issue, maybe they found a solution...
