ati crossfire or nvidia sli ??

hi, i jus wana get sum other peoples thoughts b4 i go out n blow aload of money !! my friend has sli im not sure what cards but damn expensive and has amazing fps in F.e.a.r and other big games ! is it worth me buying 2 nvidia cards and board or just gettin an ati crossfire mastercard 2 go wiv my x800gto and get a board ! i just want 2 know is sli better than crossfire ?? and wich is easier 2 use lol plz help thnx

thay did tesxt on a lot of sli and crossfire cards and crossfire was much faster but a had a few more bugs than sli so if you wait for a bit there will be a good Crossfire motherboard onthe market with out all the bugs but if u want power now then go SLI it maybe a lil slower than Crossfire but it runs a lot better
