issues with forceware updates

Can someone give me an easy explaination about why all nforceware updates (with the exception of 4304 & 6176) give me the BSOD "Hardware Parity Error"?

They all seem to load OK; but once a desktop selection is made = BSOD and after that when booting back up it occurs while booting.

This problem also occurs if I use updates tweaked via NGO.

Any meaningful advice will be greatly appreiciated.
