#21 | | Site Staff | I'm using 6600GT AGP now and the 81.85 is pretty good in BF2/Q4. I suggest you will step away from the 81.87, Try to monitor the temps while playing with RivaTuner. |

#22 | | Advanced Member | Yeah, liked sayed above me, you need at least 400W, or even 450 of TRUE power (not 'peak' power), and preffered a PSU of a well-known and decent manufacturer.
Any 'Driver Cleaner' will be just fine. The one that I'm using and can recommended on is: 'Drivercleaner' which you can get at: www.drivercleaner.net, or download directly here: http://www.drivercleaner.net/downloa...roSetup_12.zip
Anyway, GOOD LUCK. |

#25 | | Advanced Member | I guess INWIN is kinda no-name, anyway, it is NOT a well-known PSU manufacturer. If the peak power is 480W, I can guess that your Real True power is no more than 430W, so you're on the limit. But that's just a guess, you can never know exactly how much true power you have, unless it is stated on the PSU and it is a decent PSU. In your case, I even doubt if the 480W peak power stated on it is true (you can never know, some no-name companies tend to "lie").
There is also a chance that your PSU might not be the reason for the problems you're having. My best suggestion for you is to find a friend or someone else who's willing to let you try run the video card in his PC.
squall_leonhart69r, you have 450W, but Antec, so it say it all!!!
480W doesn't necessarily mean a decent one. You can have a decent Antec/OCZ/Thermaltake/PC Power & Cooling PSU of 400W which can be way better than a generic/no-name PSU of 500W. |

#28 | | Guest | I had massive issues with using the latest Nvidia drivers 81.895 or what ever they are when playing BF2. Artifacts etc etc!!
Then I rolled back to the 77's and so far so good. I have a topower psu 400w so I have no idea if that is ok but it seems to be working fine.
I'll keep you posted if anything changes............. | |

#29 | | Guest | Now i think that issues caused not by PSU. I think issues take place because my videocard is not from well known manufacturer, it is Palit. I heard it's card is low quality. There are some image issues not only in games. Then i move some window with the text along the desktop the words become Indistinct not only the words but all signs on the moving window (tools sign, words on the menu and ather). But then i stop the window this effect disapperes. In games there is the same issue with the image then i move, especially during the turnings.
Is it possible to resolve this issue or it is needed to replace the card by the more known manufacturer's one?
What can you tell about Palit and about another manufacturer?
