Exclamation Asus X800XT PE Pci express

Hello,

I am new here so i hope someone can help me.

Well i am not happy with my GAMING FPS so i would want some good advice

Having fps drops in CS 1.6 like with 32 players drops to 30 fps

Tried every driver , updated the bios , changed settings , ...
Intel® Pentium® 4 processor 640 HTT

800MHz
Level 2 cache 2 MB

Intel® 915P express chipset

1-Gb DDR2-SDRAM

Asus X800XT PE Pci express
( 530MHz 570MHz DDR3 256MB)

PSU 550W

I just installed and tested this driver with the same result : FPS drops

How much points you are getting in 3DMark03/05 ?

Like i can remember before format C it was about 15000 at 3Dmark 03

Installing now 3d mark 05 , omg 283mb

you can try to tweak it but ATI is not good at opengl. maybe in cat 5.11's theyre doing alot of opengl work in them

have you made sure that the gfx card has a direct link to your power supply ? silly question, but one worth asking.

Yep PSU has a single connector for my power pci card , so its direct connected to the power ( PSU 550W )

In my experience, Many newer games are resource hogs, I remeber when doom3 came out, Hardly any systems had the resources to play it at maximum graphics, I have an x850xt and the fear demo will cause low frames on max graphics.
