BTW, most 6800LE models usually use 2,8ns DDR, but some have faster memory, like some Leadtek models that use 2,2ns DDR.

This means that you can OC them better, over 900 MHz (DDR).

It seems that Leadtek uses the faster ram on it's retail models, which also feature their special heatsink design, while bulk cards use a reference heatsink.

But it may be that it's only build on *some* of their retail cards, so don't take my word on it!

The 6800 and 6800nu are the same thing. nu stands for Non Ultra. It's also known as the 6800 vanilla....you get the idea? It's a regular 6800.

As for turning into a full 6800gt/ultra....not really. You see, all the AGP 6800's are 128mb and will never be a full 6800gt/ultra. However, if you get a good card and you have good cooling, you can fully softmod it and overclock it A LOT....and you can get damn close to a 6800gt/ultra for VERY cheap.

To my knowledge, no, you can't softmod a 5600. I used to have a 5600xt, and I now use it as an ornament.

I'm not kidding.
