GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD6950
M/B: ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3
RAM: 8gb G.Skill
PSU: XFX 650w
I cant seem to get this to work =/ Tried all sorts... Not sure which step i am doing wrong.

Probably something to do here....
"3. Download below and Run Hybridiz.exe (Right click "Run as administrator" in Win7/8+ OR In WinXP "Connect anyway on VGA", extend the desktop, lower the resolution to 800x600, and drag the monitor to the lower left corner to prevent the mouse dropping off.) When new nVidia drivers are released this must then be rerun.

4. In each game directory right-click to make a ->"New Folder" and move the cuda* and NxCooking* and PhysX*(EXCEPT PhysXExtensions*) prefix-named folders or .DLL files, the only exception is that FluidMark1.3(&possibly others) requires their own PhysXCore* DLL ONLY so if the game crashes back to the desktop upon load/start then move that one back. For Alice2/Batman2/Mars DownLoad the AliceMar.exe or Batman2.exe to run any time you upgrade PhysX."

When i do step 3 i get nothing about running it on VGA have no window pop up just a small confirmation box saying "hybridized" Check fluid mark and nothing about GPU only CPU physx, Card is picked up by pc. Could be i am getting the wrong drivers or something?

Also Forceware =/ is this just nvidea drivers?

I am quite new to all this so if you are able to help please do so in the simplest of terms! Much appreciated!

3. Do you have WinXP, it says "OR In WinXP do this..."

It doesn't work at all on Vista. Only WinXP requires desktop extension, so if you did a right-click Admin-run with Win7 that's all you need to do. Unless you changed your registry ProgFiles folder location?

4. In the game directory near the .EXE you need to remove

1. NxCooking*
2. cuda*
3. PhysX* (except PhysXExtensions.dll)

Then run:
1. PreHybrd.exe
2. "Repair" install PhysX.MSI in the Forceware extraction folder
3. Right-Click "Run as Admin" Hybridiz.exe

Every future time you install ForceWare you need to redo step#3 only

kk will give it a go, I am on windows 7 64 bit

- Unfortunately still no luck here.

I run Prehybridz, Then install latest Ati drivers, Followed by the forceware stuff, Then run Hybridz, go to game directory and remove the necessary files launch Fluidmark and still only CPU.

I have tried doing it with removing the files first and then running hybridz but still the same outcome.

My guess is i am doing something wrong somewhere!

Radeon HD6950 with a 550ti

Just thought do i need to set the nvidea card to be dedicated to physx or is this automatic?

Auto, did you repair the MSI, then right-click admin run Hybridiz?

You are sure you right-click "repair" the PhysX-9.12.1031-SystemSoftware.MSI?

Does this trick also works on the orginal Physx PPU?
I have one with pci-express connector.. Because this card consume a lot less of power then a normal GPU do.

I like to let it work again if possible..

This is for hybrid systems using nVidia PPUs, not Ageia, so not with my patch, use this tutorial instead: http://physxinfo.com/forum/index.php?topic=120.0

The cool thing is it forces even CPU-only games to render on the Ageia PPU, where NVidia PPUs need to specifically be programmed to offload a certain effect. BUT it probably won't be fast enough for something hardcore like BorderLands2, for example.

Since you have a GT240 already, I don't recommend it for you.

anyone managed to run hybridphysx on Hawken?, i tried but it seem that i can't move the PhysXCore.dll and PhysXLoader.dll because the game won't start without it, the game seem to need it.

If you are not sure if Hybridiz worked for you in general, check if FluidMark works for you. Make sure FluidMark 1.5 says "PhysX hardware detected" If not, "repair" the PhysX.MSI and again right-click "run as Admin" on Hybridiz.

Hawken's latest patch now does startup anti-cheat file-integrity checks, except reports state that one file can be removed --and/or replaced from: ProgFiles(x86)\PhysX\Common\PhysxDevice.dll

That should work (initial reports say no) unless there is some anti-hybrid hardcoding ala PLA&nVidia-Demos, since it runs fine on the CPU it doesn't seem like there is.

Are those the only other two files that are supposed to be moved [NxCooking*/cuda*/PhysX* (except PhysXExtensions.dll)]?

Please report back.
