What does physx performance depend on anyways? cuda cores?
I know alot of people use the old 8800's and 9800s but cant seem to find anywhere that sells em anymore, maybe get a used one.

Looks like I might be able to hunt down a 9800gt for like $35

I would gladdly take an 9/8800GT, i regret having sold mine, just when i sold it the guy from this same site released the ati/nvidia physx patch...
I once saw a 9800GT on NewEgg for arround 65 USD, this was like 8 months ago, and it was out of stock in less than a week, but the brand seemed to be one of those really bad ones, cant recall the brand. |

On my old PC with an Intel Q9650+4830+GT430 I get a satisfactory results with PhysX games like Batman "Arkham Asylum". Below benchmarks with and without the GT430: Settings ATI 4830 Only ATI 4830 + GT430

The only info I can find says to install some physx patch but Im pretty sure thats from back when nvidia had it blocked in their drivers.

#9 | | Golden Member | On my computer I had the ati card already in stalled, then i install my 8800 gt then the drivers then the phyx mod. After that I downloaded a phyx benchmark to make sure it was working. Can't remember the name of it. |
