OK, got it working finally, something was messed up with my physx install, it wouldnt uninstall properly - system kept thinking it was still installed.

So I deleted everything nvidia related, ran driver sweaper (never tried it before but not impressed), then I ran 2 different registry cleaners which found alot more nvidia related stuff, but that didnt do it either so finally I manually went through the registry and deleted any instance of "physx" I could find, finally it let me install everything properly.

Only getting about 30-40% usage of the PPU though, but I am using physx ss 9.11.0621, does 9.11.1107 perform any better? Kinda scared to install it and fuck something up lol

I honestly since I build my new rig (4 months ago) I did not bother anymore with my ATI 5970 + GT460. I just swapped my 5970 with another GT460 that my son had.
I only use Nvidia drivers and no more fucking around with registry, driver sweeper and HUGE headaches!
Couldn't be any happier.
Just get a Gigabyte GTX560 GOC (well below $200.00) and use the 9800GTX for PhysX:

Actually it was the nvidia drivers causing problems not ATI, and Im still on red team and my next render card will most likely be a radeon, the couple good physx enabled games a year are hardly worth switching and actually youll notice most of the top fluidmark 1080p preset scores are with ATI render cards.
