Someone over on another forum [which will remain anonymous] asked for some help reducing the available display resolutions in the video card drivers. This person wants to eliminate all but TWO resolutions from within the drivers.
I can't think of any obvious logical reason for doing so.
Can anyone here come up with some reasonable explanation for even considering this?

First, this person said that my inquiry was not relevant to his/her problem and desire to limit said resolutions.
Well, what they were attempting to do was limit what the drivers "thought" the TV could do. I replied that, if he/she had simply answered my inquiry about why and what they were trying to accomplish, the answer could have been given a whole lot faster.
Sheesh....some people!
Anyway, problem solved ... for now.

"Get rid of the DALNonStandardModesBCD entries for your card from the inf file and reinstall the drivers."
