CPU: i7 920 @ 2.66 GhZ
GPU: Radeon 5850
M/B: Dell Studio XPS 435

PSU: Dell PSU
Default How would i go about getting physx running on this machine if possible

I have a Dell Studio XPS 435 (that hasnt shipped to me yet) with

# Chipset type Intel X58 Express and a Radeon 5850

3 PCI Express x1 , 1 PCI , 1 PCI Express x8 - expansion slots other than my graphics card slot.

i have a pci express x1 ageia card but i heard they arent updating for it anymore so if it is possible to get running i'd be able to buy an nvidia card for it if they have a PCI/express x1 or express x 8 card that works.

You should be able to put any 16x NVidia card in the 8x slot. Just remember to download the GenL patch so that Physx can be enabled in the presence of an ATI card.
