Looks cool but man that would be a lot of $$$ for the monitors.

It looks nice on the paper, but how does it work in reality?

I don't believe the so called top review sites anymore. We need someone neutral to check it out and come up with legitimate review. That reminds me of Nvidia 3D Vision, it received a lot of positive feedback and positive reviews - but for me it was horrible.

I believe that Eyefinity works on a very limited amount of titles.

Very true Reg I know what you mean I really don't trust guru 3d anymore after nvidia renamed the 9800 Gtx to gts 250 something and guru 3d was saying it was a new and better card.

I really don't know if it dose work I guess time will tell.

For what I understand, it performs great in over the shoulder action games, racing games and flying simulators. But in games where the action is not always centered, like FPS, it takes a very heavy toll on the performance.

i worry about the quality for thus sized images.
my current gpu (4870) is O.K. at 2560x1600 and reviews say the new 5870 is like 2x as fast... but thats not enought for resolutions of 5120x3200 (4 displays of 2560x1600) as this is 4x more pixels and you have only twice the speed --> it may be 50% loss of FPS? (math isnt my favourite )

anyway the border of displays near the middle of FOV sucks! better get a 52" display and sit 1m in front of it (without goggles, then i get 8xAA for free, it looks amazing *lol*)

I was think the same thing I mean what if a enemy plain was right in front of you but you didn't know it b/c the monitor bezel was in the way. I think I would rather have one big Tv like a 60 or something.

I agree. Same thing with graphics cards, I would rather have one powerful card than two cards that are equivalent.

it has to start somewhere, and while i'd not like to be an early adopter of this tech, as it progresses, more and more titles will get support. A year or two from now, this should be a very nice toy for those with a lot of cash.

But we need some screens with ultra thin bezels otherwise i don't think it'll be ideal.

I don't know if I'm not understanding this EYEFINITY but I just don't get it....what is the point....you don't see anymore of the environment....it's just bigger....so buy a bigger screen and have a view that isn't obstructed by the multiple screen bezels.
I mainly play FPS games....not sure if it offers advantage in driving games...Is it possible to set the side view cameras to the monitors on either side? In which case you would be able to see more without toggling the camera view....does it work like that? or do you only get a bigger higher res view of the forward camera?
