Default Nvidia ForceWare Drivers Question

Just curious if anyone knows this.
How come on the official Nvidia drivers site they split the individual drivers for the GT200 series card while the other generations are all under one section? For example, say Windows 7 and you choose Geforce 9 cards, it is only one selection. But if you use Windows 7 and try the GT200 series, they give you all the individual cards in this generation as choices to choose from. Each of the cards in the GT200 series aren't all that different than the 8 and 9 series cards right?

I believe some cards in the 200 series have different cores

but i might be wrong...
