#1 | | Advanced Newbie | GPU-Z and GTX 275 Questions Hi all, hope this is the right place to ask this question.
I have the GeForce GX 275 and in GPU-Z newest version, it shows 2 temperatures for GPU as well as 2 temperatures for the PCB; is this right? It is not a X2 card nor am I running SLI.
Also of significance is that one of the GPU temperatures is always 8 degrees C higher than the other but both PCB temperatures remain relatively the same. Why is that? |

Core, Memory, etc. I'm not sure why your version doesn't show this. But, I don't use nV video cards.

But I am still stumb as to why one side runs hotter (8 degrees C) VS the other side. |

It may be that one fan isn't running like it should. Take the side cover off your PC and visually check the fans while the system is running. You may be able to see whether one is running slower than the other.
If both fans appear to be running properly, then it could be that the heatsink isn't installed correctly. We've had some reports of video cards not leaving the manufacturer with proper seating of the heatsink/s.
If this were mine, I'd be a bit concerned about this, too.
Good luck!

Good luck! | You know what the funny thing is? That 8 deg C higher temperature is in range of all other benchmark/review sites for the GTX275 Twin Frozr temperature measurements. All my other three GPU/PCB measurements using GPUZ are technically 8 degrees C lower than all the reviews on the internet (this included both idle and load temperatures)! So either I caught a lucky break with the other three measurements or something is going on here... lol |

#10 | | Advanced Newbie | Ok now that I installed the 191.07 Nvidia drivers that came out today and restarted the computer, GPU-Z is displaying only one temperature. One PCB and one GPU temperature.
This is really weird.
Any ideas guys? |
