#1 | | Newbie | | GPU: Sapphire Radeon 4550 | | | PSU: 220W Pile of Garbage | | Radeon HD 4550 I have a low profile PC, and the only card I could find that would work with my terrible 220W PSU was the Sapphire Radeon HD 4550.
Is it really terrible? |

Don't be so cheap, because a crappy PSU can and probably will burn down your PC once it malfunctions. |

safe minimum for that configuration is 400w but recommended is around 520w to 580w
if you are taking noname psu i would recommend you to take something with 700w it will work normaly at 500w (noname psus haves writen peak power as normal but that is not true power, true power is around 20 to 30% lower) |

I was running a long time a crossfire configuration with a 500W PSU LOLL...
Actually still got the 4850 CFX with 4 HDDS in raid , AMD Phenom 2 940 and the most high i achieved with this rig was 380W Peak lolll.
In idle I got 241W |
