Patch works perfect, thank you GenL. Nurien demo average FPS is up 5 points on my machine with the last driver. In BAA it's just amazing to see sheets of paper fly off the floor when Batman is passing by. Great job! Thanks again!

As I said before: No because you can use the extended desktop option with an "imaginary" monitor that you can "create" by pressing "Detect" and use the "Try to connect anyway on: VGA" in the Windows Display settings.

Thank you all you guys that are working on this project.
This give me hope. And proves that EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE
I hopping too, that the ATi drivers get modded to support "native" PhysX, without having to buy a stupid nvidia card... i don't want to... they are cheaters!
Anyway, this i awesome!

Thank you!!!! And don't let the green win anymore!
KEEP IT UP!!!

Thank you GenL for making a great patch! Patch 1.01 lite x64 worked for me. Thanks you rock! It installed for me only in Windows Safe Mode.

Thanks also to Ghost for the extend display hint, I've got the PhysX enabled now!

And here are the results!

Weird... I don't see anything about "you must have an Nvidia card" in PPU minimum requirements.

Hey GenL

I'll help if I can. I have some 5870's running in Win 7 64bit. I also have an Ageia PPU so if you want I would like to try any of your fixes that may enable this PPU to run in conjunction with my 5870's under Win 7.

I also have a spare nvidia GTX285 here as well but I don't realy want to have to run that as well as the dual 5870's in the one system if I can help it.

Would be glad to help out just let me know

I get a 9800GT ECO instead of the 9600GT Green. Here are the specs:

My board cripples very bad the Nvidia card cause of the 4x penalty in the second PCIe. What is worst is that this 4x being 1.1 is kinda 2x really

So i did several test changing the VGAs, here're the results:

Batman Arkham Asylum
1920x1200 0xAA, 16xAF, PhysX High

9800GT alone:

Min= 15
Max= 46
Avg= 28

HD4850 4x + 9800GT 16x:

Min= 16
Max= 72
Avg= 41

HD4850 16x + 9800GT 4x:

Min= 21
Max= 81
Avg= 49

FluidMark scores:

9800GT alone

HD4850 4x + 9800GT 16x

HD4850 16x + 9800GT 4x

At least is better than the 9500GT DDR2, wich gives me about 2200 FLuidMarks

Has anybody found a way to deal with the increased temps? My 4850 is hitting 100C and its killing me.

Thumbs up Thanks!

Thank you very much for the fix!

I (for some reason) couldn't boot in safe mode, so I found an alternative fix that might help others too:

1. Go to My Computer > Properties > Hardware > Device manager (or type "device manager" in start menu)
2. Disable your nvidia card
3. Start > Run... > Services.msc
4. Stop nVidia Display Driver Service
5. Apply patch
6. Start the nVidia display driver service
7. Enable your nvidia card

Quick and easy
