It could be the PSU is going bad. It also could be the video card. Without a replacement to swap in it's going to be difficult to figure it out.
You could try removing the ATI card and running only the GTS 250 to see if you have problems. If the Nvidia card runs fine by itself with the power plug attached then it's likely the PSU. If you still are having problems with the ATI card removed then I'd say it's the GTS 250. |

One thing i noticed before i format my drive, was that the blue screens started to appear when i upgraded the ATI drivers from 10.1 to 10.2,I now still use 10.2,i read that they have significant stability/performance changes so i kept them.. |

I have installed a hd4850 for rendering and a 9800gt for physx. Well, with the games (batman, mirror's edge) all ok, but with software like Badaboom i get an error:
GPU 0: ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series
GPU 1: NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GT
FATAL:Could not get compute capability from device driver
WARNING:HW Decode Capability detection failed.
FATAL:Could not acquire CUDA device.
FATAL:
Now i have driver 195.62 with physx-mod 1.02 by Genl.
With driver 190.38 Badaboom run.
Also gpu-z says cuda not supported. Attachment 2526
thanx very much to all. | i also want badaboom working. How i can approach it? |

I do know that CUDA works because I run SETI@home, which uses it. But I have noticed too that a lot of CUDA programs will not work.
Something you might try -- swap the displays. When you want to run Badaboom make the Nvidia card the primary display and see if it works. |
