Is anyone else having issues with the newest drivers?
I tried the new drivers and physx keeps running in software mode, reverted back to 195.62 and everything worked fine again.

Using latest physx release (9.09.1112) and patch 1.02.

On a sidenote, it feels like I'm bottlenecking my system with this 9600GT. Like at the "waterfall" in the sewers in mirror's edge, my FPS drops to around 30.
Not sure if this is because of the card not being able to handle the physx, or there just being too much going on, suggestions are welcome.

I finished Mirror's Edge with PhysX and it never dropped below 60 fps, I think the 9600GT is more than enough for this game.

Now I have very bad news. I have downloaded the Dark Void benchmark and it won't allow me to enable PhysX medium or high, only low. And PhysX is enabled and working on my system (works in Batman and FluidMark). Maybe nVidia has instructed game developers to not enable PhysX when ATI card is present, or maybe the benchmark is limited to low. I would like to try the full game, but I have read it's very bad and I don't want to spend €40 on it. I'm still using 195.62 drivers with GenL's patch.

I have set the 9600GT as primary display and run the benchmark on it, and I still can't enable medium or high PhysX (I get a message saying that I should enable PhysX from nVidia Control Panel, and it's enabled of course).

This problem with Dark Void was solved already on the russian forums
When you install Dark Void it automatically installs a modified PhysX software that blocks PhysX on the mixed configurations.
Modding again won't help, you need to clean all the PhysX software from the system and install the regular software again. Then you mix in some magic called "PhysX mod by GenL" and play Dark Void with HW PhysX and mixed config.

uriel you dont have to do a clean install , just remove the physx game installer and the physx software and install the physx software again

Uriel, if PhysX works in-game, forget about benchmark. Demo and benchmark could be limited to "Low" setting.

A word about so-called "PhysX Game Software"... Are you sure it disables PhysX only on hybrid configs? I looked at the files inside this package and it seems to me that it just screwing up PhysX System Software installation, leaving even nvidia-only systems without PhysX support.

Can't confirm for sure about a Nvidia only configs. Only people with hybrid configs reported problems for now.

Also there was a useful link found by the_last_one. It's about making a dummy monitor - click here.

That dummy monitor isn't even needed. You only need to do the "try to connect anyway" part for physx to work.

This works for me under win7, but not in winXP.
