My graphics card driver My computer starts up normally and everything except for one problem. When i launch a game, the screen has the game in the backround but on top of that, there is like a checkboard that has the colors red, blue, white, and purple. That happens when i play left 4 Dead, Counter strike Source, GTA 4, and Team Fortress 2.
I was thinking that my driver had to do something with it. So, i go to ati.com to find a driver update for my video card driver. When i am done with the download, it tells me that i need to restart my computer so the downloaded driver will be able to use. Once i restart my computer....everything loads except the Windows Vista log-in screen. Instead of that, a blue screen comes up and tells me information but it only shows for about 3 seconds and goes away; too quick for me to read it.
So, i restart my computer again, and it tells me to start in Safe Mode of Start Windows Normally. I choose "Start Windows Normally" but then the blue screen pops up again. I get fustrated so i go to safe mode and do a System Restore to the way my computer was before. I need help so i can play my games that i always loved.
