i'm no graphics guy but whenever i used no_clip with doomIII, i could go through walls and see all the other levels currently loaded, so what ati r saying is right, the things behind the walls were being rendered eventhough we couldnt see them.
But if that is so simple why didnt ati code a proper culling algorithim to begin with.

Last two releases ( 5.4 and 5.5) sucked really bad...So ATI should do something GOOD with their drivers now.

I didn't care for the 5.4 set but 5.5 has been fine with my setup

It sure would be nice to gain a free 10% - 20% performance boost so I hope it's true that we will get them today or tomorrow
