Default Do old version drivers works better ...?

Well, to be specificly I meant Omega Drivers for Xp.
Currently I got their Driver based on 7.12, I have an old card - Ati Radeon X600, and I heard people say that old versions works best for old or not so good cards like Cat. 5.12 and such , is it true? ╮(╯▽╰)╭

I do think there's some truth to it. The older cards definitely do not have the newer technology that the newer drivers are designed to support. So, at some point in time, the newer drivers simply cannot address the older features any better than the drivers that focused specifically on those features.

So, if an older card performs poorly after trying newer drivers, it's a good idea to check out the older ones.
