When I overclock using ati's catalst control center auto-tune or manually over clock video games freeze within 10 minutes.

You very likely are creating a heat issue and need to ALSO increase the fan speed to compensate for the additional heat created by your overclock. Be sure to monitor your temperatures during load from the 3D games you play.

Another possibility is that the increased timings may require additional voltage to maintain stability. If you're not familiar with that, you best not do the overclocking at all.

Since we don't know your level of expertise, it's hard to know what to recommend to you.

Thank you, I won't overclock since I don't know much at all I have only had a video card for 3 weeks, and am new to computer gaming. The temperature is about 56-58c when playing crysis warhead on enthusiast, 1280x1024, and 4x antialiasing for 3 hours straight. Is that temperature hot or is it ok, because I have a medium sized case.
