I have to work harder to pay my bills and to get food and it ain’t easy with today’s economy… forcing me to work extra hours and to spend less time on the site and its projects.
In fact, I have to work harder then you; I’m paying more taxes since my country is facing a lot of security threats as we are surrounded by enemies, who want to wipe us off the map. These security issues require huge budget for military – which I have to pay for it. |

What I recommend, is don't do as you did last summer/fall. Don't keep saying "i will give you an update next week/tomorrow/start of next month". It is better just not to give a date. Or say "I will let you know when I can". The second you put a date to it, you make yourself a commitment. If you can't make that commitment, then just a quick post to say "no news atm, will get around to it later", would suffice. But you are the one setting the obligation for yourself.
I just dont like to be flamed for merely asking where was it? did i miss it? or is it coming?
As I have always said, dont set a date unless you can keep it, or at least when the date comes, postpone it further, but silence isnt good. |

#85 | | Professional Member | No one can, but when the date comes, you should still say something, even "no news as intended due to Nvidia/Ati being pr*cks", but if you chose to set a date, then like most news sites forums, you either honour it, or put in why not. But putting a date then doing nothing for weeks beyond, is just like or appears like telling your mother I will do my homework tomorrow to shut her up..., with zero intention of actually doing it.
Personally if you set a date you should honour it in some form even to say, not ready yet, busy. If you have no intention of doing it, or know you cant, you certainly shouldnt set a date. |
