Default trouble with brightness in ccc (8.11)

Hi, i got some problems with my settings in the ccc panel. i want to set the gamma value on 0.8 but after closing a game, the value isnt set back to my value. only if i open the ccc again, the value will be activated and my screen gets dark.

-> so i have to open the ccc each time after i played, to get the same settings before gaming?!

does anyone got an idea, how to solve that?

thanks a lot for your help^^

This is a very known and common Catalyst bug. As far, I as I know there is not any fix or workaround. You can try to use PowerStrip or Adobe Gamma, but I doubt it will help. The only way to solve it is to make AMD rebuild their entire color system.

with some games there is no problem like these for example "trackmania nations" you can close it and after 1-2 seconds the "old" settings will applied to the screen...
