Default 4870 red dots?

hi guys,
i am runnding the latest drivers 8.11 and sometimes some pixels light up RED where they should be black. its not always and not all black pixels. but its somehow strange.

the card does not get too hot!
the card does get enough power!

note: those red flashing pixels come up in 2D and 3D mode. (but not always)

VRM = Video Ram?
its cooled with stock fan from sapphire and i have 3x120mm fans in my tower - watercooled cpu (28°C water temp max) and good airflow in the case. i doubt anything is getting hotter than in a normal system.

EDIT: how should i check this? afaik there are only two termal sensors on the board, gpu and backside.
log with speedfan or which tool do you recommend?

VRM is Voltage regulator module.

You can monitor it with Everest or GPU-z while gaming.

Max VRM temp is 125c.
