Exclamation display driver stopped responding and has successfuly recovered

every now and then while playing games (well my son shouts dad pc has crashed again !) get this pop up sayin... display driver NVLDDMKM stopped responding and has successfully recovered .now done some research and alot of other people haveing same problem as me.... but cant seem to find a fix to this problem any help form u guys will keep my son an me happy thx


driver in use - 178.24
os - vista 64

If what regen say didnt help, try:
1. Downclock the core/memory of the card a bit (25mhz each - 100mhz max)
2. memtest your ram (any linux livecd should have it)
3. use the lastest nvidia driver (180.43 seems to be working fine)

connections = fine
gpu temp = 34 c
cpu temp = 36 c
and have 180.43 now so see what happens ill let u no
