Sorry, I missed this until just now. 70C at idle is VERY MUCH too high for the CPU temp!

I highly advise that you shutdown the machine, remove the processor and make sure the thermal paste is properly applied and that the processor itself is properly secured. Then, make sure the fan is working and removing the heat from the processor. [If you're using an after market or 3rd party fan, you need to make sure it's pulling the air AWAY from the processor...not blowing down onto it.]
