I understand being told not to release anything for a period or even indefinately. But what I don't understand is why these topics are being ignored when a simple broad bit of information would suffice.

i.e.

"Due to legal difficulties I cant continue this project."

"I have been asked not to disclose any further information until 20th august, after that i can say more"

"It turns out after a positive start on the project, we can't get some elements of the Physx to work properly on Radeons making this a dead end project atm."

"Sorry I am not allowed to say anything atm, will post when i can, not sure when that is atm, but rest assured it is progressing".

Pick one...post it.

Rege has been pretty low key of late so perhaps he will soon have some kind of update for everyone

find it odd he can post lots of news stories, an opinion on the new Tomb Raider girl, but not a simple update, i.e. No news atm, will be making a post in a week or 2, project is cancelled due to legal reasons.

Something is so much better than absolutely nothing.

I am sure a 5-15 word post would not detract from ones life.

yes I can...I think you are being rather stupid here. If you are asking this due to post count all that relates to that is March 5th, 2005, the join date to the forums. However I dont care if he does 1 post a month, i do think this is a more important subject to the site and him than lara croft.

As I have already said, he has blatently ignored all these threads(radeon+physx) whilst still being capable of posting on other threads, such as Lara Croft in tombraider, and posting news items.

If it is not going to happen he should have the balls(basically) to say so, and if it is going to happen then he really is due to put a rough estimate of eta or when the NDA expires.

You can say, he owes "the community" nothing, and we shouldn't expect an update...to that i say when he made the boast with screenshot, he made it public domain, and to just go quiet on it is publicly irresponsible, he basically becomes a scam artist(anyone can make a screenshot up and a claim, then never follow through, not saying his claim is false, but the effect is the same), and wastes a lot of interested parties time, looking for any proof of this claim or news of progress.
